The new profiles for the 4000 are excellent. I printed some older and some new images, mainly 16 x 20′s, and they all came out great. The results are very consistent with good density and accurate color. These new profiles are much, much better. Thanks.

I just wanted to thank you for doing such a great job. Your profiles are dead accurate on our Epson 9600 printer and as a result, my wife and partner Linde Waidhofer has been able to switch to exhibiting prints on their Entrada paper which she really likes. Thanks again for your calibration services. Your quick response to my request saved me considerable hard earned dollars, and greatly helped me get through printing an edition of 35 13×19 prints. The prints were gorgeous if I must say. I would recommend to anyone who is considering calibrating their system that they bring in an expert to take you through the process first. That way you start off with a benchmark calibration.

The good news is that your profiles are the best I’ve ever encountered for any paper, period! Until I downloaded your profiles from your web site, I never saw the advantage of using profiles. Upon loading your profile and making my first print, the result was astonishing…to say the least. The color was exactly what I was looking for, yet had never been achieved.

Andrew Behla has always been a pleasure to work with up to this very day. In the color management and ICC profiling world it is hard to find a consultant with all qualifications that also is delivering a flawless profile. In the complicated set-up of the well known Brightcube Solution, a print-on-demand service, Andrew set up the color management  in such a way that it always delivered true color output and made all applications involved in the system work smooth together. It didn’t matter what printers or what operating system we used to print, Andrew configured them all.

As a teacher at UCLA, a friend and a colleague in the field, Andrew is a wealth of knowledge and his website will be on my “favorites” for referrals or to just get some help myself.

I really enjoyed everything we have learned in your class. After publishing a magazine for 7 years, I was thinking about publishing books and this class has helped my focus on the types of books I want to publish. This class has inspired me to start some of these projects that have been laying around and I hadn’t gotten to yet. Plus, it is the first time I have gone into the technical world to be able to do things from start to finish. Having this knowledge will make me much more competent in managing the fine art publishing process.

The class has even been extremely helpful in setting up our photography studio in downtown. Thank you for sharing your incredible wealth of information with us.

Thanks so much for the gray balance target. And thanks for the workshop. I do hope UCLA expands it into a full course. Scanning is so important and so complex. In my work I see people faking it all the time. And I know someone down the line, perhaps at the commercial printer or service bureau, has to make things work even with bad scans. My goal is not to be among those faking competence in digital imaging. Thanks for sharing your expertise.
